Etsha
Geography and History
Etsha village situated in Botswana is very small. It is only about twenty kilometres along the West side of the Okavango Delta.
Etsha consists of 13 communities which were formed by the 13 groups of the Mbukushu people who left South Africa from Angola to Botswana because of the Angola civil war.

- There are many guided tours available to experience what life is like in Etsha and to get out into the delta
- Horse Riding Safaris through Okavango Delta: This is availible around the Etsha area. On horseback, you can get a closer look into the Delta and explore the beautiful wildlife. Wildlife to see includes great herds of buffalo, zebra, wildebeest and elephants
