Kang
Geography and History
The Town of Kang in the Kgalagadi District of Botswana is situated on the Trans Kalahari Highway in the Kalahari Desert, between Ghanzi in the North and Sekoma in the South. Kang has become the preferred overnight stop for many travellers travelling between South Africa and Windhoek in Namibia or travellers travelling from South Africa to Northern Botswana.

Things to do in Kang include early morning and late afternoon game drives. There is a variety of game species including giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, eland, hartebeest, wildebeest, kudu, impala, etc. You might also be fortunate enough to spot a cheetah, leopard or brown hyena.
