Mandunyane
Geography and History
Mandunyane is a town in the Central District of Botswana. It is located is 15 km North West of Tonota and 33 km south west of Francistown. The town is named after Kgosi Harry Mandunyane. He is believed to be the first man to lead the early inhabitants of Mandunyane.
Mandunyane is encircled by Tonota West to the South, Shashe Mooke to the West, Shashe Bridge to the North and Semotswane to the East.
The village is divided into six divisions: Moabi in the South-West, Kgari in the South-East, Gabaratane in the North-West, Maseka in the North-East, Makamane in the Central North and Morokotso in the Central South.

Things to do in Mandanyane include:
- Shashe dam, a dam on the Shashe River in Botswana.
- An annual soccer tournament takes place in Mandunyane during the festive season. There is also a wide variety of football clubs in Mandunyane. Tennis and volleyball are also popular.
