Geography and History

Tutume is a large village situated in the Central District of Botswana. It is roughly 50 km from the Zimbabwe border gate at Maitengwe. The village is a sub district headquarters and has a population of about 13,000. There are many different tribes in Tutume.

The closest city to Tutume is Francistown which is located about 100 km from it.
